Continous Core Sampling
AKA Macro Sampler(MC)

A solid barrel, direct push device for collecting continuous core samples of unconsolidated materials at depth. Although other lengths are available, the standard Macro-Core® Sampler has an assembled length of approximately 48 and 60 inches (1219 mm and 1524 mm respectively) with an outside diameter (OD) of 2.2 inches (56 mm). Collected samples measure up to 1300 ml in volume in the form of a 1.5-inch x 45-inch (38 mm x 1143 mm) core contained inside a removable liner and up to 1647 ml in volume in the form of a 1.5-inch x 45-inch (38 mm x 1397 mm) core also contained inside a removable liner. The Macro-Core® Sampler may be used in an open-tube or closed-point configuration.
